The New England Hoop Mountain Shooting & Scoring Camp is designed to teach players to become a fundamentally sound and complete offensively skilled player. This camp will cover all skills on the offensive side of the game. Essential skills will include shooting, 1-on-1 moves, creating your own offense, transition scoring, and many more topics will be covered. 

The Shooting & Scoring Camp is for Massachusetts players but not limited to Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, and International entering the 4th-12th grade. Players at the camp will be divided by age and skill level. This is an overnight camp. Check-in is at 10:00am-12:30pm, check-out is at 11:30am. 

Harold Francis will be entering his 12th year as a coach at Hoop Mountain. Coach Francis spent three years as the head coach at Boston Collegiate Charter School in Dorchester, MA where he lead the school to three consecutive playoff appearances and was named Massachusetts Charter School Athletic Organization Basketball Coach of the Year in 2007. A long time veteran coach within the ISL, one of the most competitive leagues in New England, he has served as an assistant coach at Buckingham Brown and Nichols School in Cambridge, MA and is currently the Head Coach at Groton School in Groton, MA.

At the scoring camp, Coach Francis will use the same drills that he has used to help develop numerous collegiate athletes for more than a decade. Athletes will improve their overall offensive skill set while learning how to work within a team environment.

Hoop Mountain New England is a Massachusetts based company.  Our camps are located at Roger Williams University in scenic Bristol, Rhode Island. Campers will stay on campus in RWU dorms and eat all meals in campus dining halls. The RWU dining halls have be rated among the best in the country by the USA Today among other publications.

Camp Safety

Campers reside in the Roger Williams University dormitory. A safe environment is provided for the campers. The camp director and his staff reside in the dorm with the campers. Campers are with the staff the entire day and night in the athletic center or dining halls. Parents can visit the camp anytime during their child's stay.
