Hoop Mountain Elite Prospect Camp is designed for players entering 9th through post graduate (grade 13). The camp has a perfect blend of scholarship college evaluation and instruction. Campers at the Elite Prospect Camp actually are coached by scholarship college coaches. In addition, numerous New England Prep School coaches are on the Elite Prospect Camp staff. Hundreds of players have earned scholarships at the Elite Prospect Camp throughout the camp's thirty year history. 

The second part of the camp is around the clock teaching. Players are in the gym the entire camp locked in to instruction from college and prep school coaches starting with the 6:45 a.m. early bird session to the night owl session culminating at 10:30 p.m. at night.  The players only leave the gym for dining. This is an overnight camp. Check-in is at 9:00am-12:30pm, check-out is at 11:30am. 

Hoop Mountain Elite Prospect Camp offers the following

  • Annually 12-15 scholarship college coaches on the staff
  • The scholarship college coaches actively coach the campers
  • After the conclusion of the camp the scholarship college coaches individually review each camper’s performance at the camp and project each campers' possible role in college basketball. 

The following colleges have been represented at Hoop Mountain in the last couple of years: Adelphi, American International, Assumption, Babson, Bates, Boston College, Boston University, Brandeis, Bryant, Colby, Dominican College, Florida Southern, Franklin Pierce, Goldey-Beacom, Merrimack, Northeastern, Pace, Roger Williams, Sacred Heart, Seton Hall, Southern Connecticut, Southern New Hampshire, St. Michael's, Trinity, Tufts, UMass, University Science, Vassar, Wesleyan, among others. 

Many of the finest New England Prep Schools head coaches are on the staff. Hoop Mountain New England is a Massachusetts based company.  Our camps are located at Roger Williams University in scenic Bristol, Rhode Island. Campers will stay on campus in RWU dorms and eat all meals in campus dining halls. The RWU dining halls have be rated among the best in the country by the USA Today among other publications.

Camp Safety

Campers reside in the Roger Williams University dormitory. A safe environment is provided for the campers. The camp director and his staff reside in the dorm with the campers. Campers are with the staff the entire day and night in the athletic center or dining halls. Parents can visit the camp anytime during their child's stay.
