Back Court camp is for players who desire to become better educated in the craft of being exceptional guards. The Back Court Camp will cover every aspect of being an exceptional "floor general." Unparalleled 25 hours of on the court teaching and instruction while attending this camp.

The director for all eleven years of the Back Court Camp is the highly decorated coach of Bishop Hendricken High School; Jamal Gomes (pictured right). Jamal was a four year scholarship player at Stonehill College. Jamal has led Hendricken to an unprecedented nine state titles and coached back court stars as Billy and Jimmy Baron and Justin and Joey Mozzulla.  His staff is comprised of former back court stars who now coach at the high school and college level.  

Back Court Camp is is for players entering the 4th-12th grade. Players at the camp will be divided by age and skill level. This is an overnight camp. Check-in is from 10:00am-12:30pm, check-out is at 11:30am.

Hoop Mountain New England is a Massachusetts based company.  Our camps are located at Roger Williams University in scenic Bristol, Rhode Island. Campers will stay on campus in RWU dorms and eat all meals in campus dining halls. The RWU dining halls have be rated among the best in the country by the USA Today among other publications.

Camp Safety

Campers reside in the Roger Williams University dormitory. A safe environment is provided for the campers. The camp director and his staff reside in the dorm with the campers. Campers are with the staff the entire day and night in the athletic center or dining halls. Parents can visit the camp anytime during their child's stay.
