Learn the concepts and skills to become a complete offensive player!!!

The Hoop Mountain Shooting and Scoring is for players of all skill levels. This camp can help give you basic shooting/scoring fundamentals as well as advanced level shooting and offensive attack moves. The individualized teaching is second to none and will help get your offensive game to the next level. This camp is for players entering 6th grade through postgraduate year. Players will be divided by age and skill level.

Level I - Basics of Shooting/Scoring

Essentials ~ proper shooting form, technique and footwork

One-on-one attack moves

Using your dribble to create 7 get to the rim

Midrange and 3-point shooting principles

Using screens, Catch & shoot, & shooting off the dribble

Level II – Advanced Concepts of Shooting/Scoring

Creating your own offense – shooting and off the dribble

Understanding defensive principles – attacking angles and playing in space.

Finishing around the rim against bigger players.

Attacking and beating second and third defenders.

Advanced finishing moves utilizing vision, footwork, body control and balance.

Shooting Instructors

Well known shooting instructors throughout New England. Vic is a former player and coach in Europe. He was a four year starter at Eastern Connecticut and left the school as its All-Time Assist Leader. He was Coach of the Year in the Irish Superleague in 1997. Bill is outstanding at breaking shooting down into the basic fundamentals. He has coached high school and AAU basketball for 10 years.
