College Exposure Camps

Last year over 600 College and Prep School Coaches attended Hoop Mountain Events in 2009. These events are NCAA Certified for Division I, II, and III exposure. The top players are on hand  at our exposure camps, including ESPNU’s #1 player  in the Country, Andre Drummond who attended camp last year.

Super Weeks (Designed for Maximum Exposure and Teaching!) (Residential Camp)

The Super Weeks are camps for the serious basketball players entering 10th grade through Post Graduate (13th grade). This camp is for players who are looking to take their games to the next level. At these camps you will receive outstanding instruction and play against the best competition around. These camps are staffed by College, Prep School, and High School Coaches. These camps will be recruited by Division I, II, and III coaches.

New York Summer Showcase Classics… Where the Coaches Are!

“A MUST ATTEND FOR ANY PROSPECTIVE COLLEGE BASKETBALL PLAYER”

The Summer Classics are one day mini-camps for players looking to showcase their basketball talents. These Division I NCAA certified events will allow players a chance to play in front of numerous college coaches and editors of top scouting publications. The showcases will also feature  seminars on how to become an NCAA qualifier and how to be a recruitable player. The showcases are for players entering 9th grade through Post Graduate (13th grade). The showcases will be recruited by Division I, II, and III coaches. The Summer Classics are the perfect event when supplemented by our Super Week or New York Scouting Showcase Camp. Sign up EARLY as both of these events Sell-Out early every year.

The program consists of round robin “mini” games and a brief discussion concerning updates on NCAA revised eligibility standards by a national scholastic talent scout. A basketball speed and strength specialist will measure participant’s athletic performance. In addition, prior to the“round robin” games, there will be basketball workouts for college coaches observation. Numerous prep school head basketball coaches will be present to answer any questions from parents and to observe senior high student athletes for placement for next year. Each player is guaranteed a minimum of several “mini” games. All attending participants will receive a Hoop Mountain Shirt.

Hoop Mountain Presents SHARPSHOOTER UNIVERSITY (Residential Camp)

Campers may attend either Super Week and SHARPSHOOTER UNIVERSITY

SHARPSHOOTER UNIVERSITY is for the basketball player looking to get their Masters in shooting . This camp can help give you basic shooting fundamentals as well as advanced shooting techniques. The individualized teaching will help get your offensive game to the next level. This camp is for players entering 6th grade  through Postgraduate year (13th grade). Players at this camp will be divided by age and skill level. This camp features a very low player to coach ratio, to ensure that each shooter receives the most detailed instruction that is possibly available. Our SHARPSHOOTER U. coaching staff is compromised of College Basketball Coaches, Current Collegiate Players, and High level Varsity High School Basketball Coaches.

  • Proper Shooting form and grip
  • Offensive footwork with and without the basketball
  • Midrange and 3-point shooting techniques
  • Advanced one on one moves
  • Shooting off the dribble
  • Classroom sessions to take your shot to the next level
  • Each player will receive a DVD of their shot and analysis to continue to work on their shot after camp.

Hoop Mountain Presents The Elite Point Guard Institute

Campers may attend either Super Week and The Elite Point Guard Institute

This camp will cover every aspect of being a great “floor general.” The Elite Point Guard Institute is directed by Bishop Hendricken Head Coach Jamal Gomes. Jamal has led Bishop Hendricken to six straight Rhode Island State Championships. The Elite Point Guard Institute is also  staffed by college coaches and players who have recently played college basketball at a high level. This camp is for players entering 6th grade through Postgraduate year (13th grade). Players at this camp will be divided by age and skill level.

Hoop Mountain Presents the Post Player Prep School

Campers may attend Super Week II and the Post Player Prep School

The Hoop Mountain Post Player Prep School  is designed to teach players how to become a complete post player. This camp will present every facet of the low and high post game. The Post Player Prep School is directed by Former NBA Post-Player  Jay Murphy. Murphy’ led Boston College to the Sweet 16 and went on to play for the L.A. Clippers in the NBA. Murphy has been instrumental in developing many High School Post-Players into Division I Players. Post Player Prep School  Campers will be taught facing the basket and back to the basket post play. This camp is for players entering 6th grade through Postgraduate year (13th grade).Players at this camp will be divided by age and skill level.

Youth Exposure and Teaching Camp

This is a Residential Camp Featuring Around the Clock, High Level Basketball Instruction and Exposure

Hoop Mountain Junior Elite Camp Presented by New England Recruiting Report The Hoop Mountain Junior Elite camp is a four day, three night camp for rising basketball stars who want to gain early exposure and learn what it takes to play at the next level. This camp will have college coaches and scouting report evaluators on staff. Not only will this camp be great for early exposure, this camp will also have premier skill instruction. Each day campers will go through vigorous skill stations that will help break each camper improver his game. This camp is for players entering 6th to 9th Grade. Each player will be individually evaluated by the New England Recruiting Report and featured at www.NewEnglandRecruitingReport.com, the preeminent basketball recruiting website in New England. Each player will also receive a NIKE Mesh Jersey.

The First annual Hoop Mountain Team Camps will be held July 17-18 at Union College in Schenectady, New York and  August 7-8  on the campus of Stonehill College in Easton, MA . Each team is guaranteed six games in top knotch facilities with board certified officials. Each team will participate in morning, afternoon, and evening games and also participate in skill development workouts. Many of the best teams in the Northeast region will be competing in the Hoop  Mountain Team Camps.
