Hoop Mountain Midwest Boys Basketball prides itself in providing opportunities year round for players who aspire to play at the highest possible level.
It is our mission to provide the best programs and staff to fully meet the various basketball and fitness needs of our participants. Hoop Mountain provides maximum exposure to college coaches. The organization provides young basketball players with the highest level of coaching, elite competition, and allows each athlete to develop a sense of pride and accomplishment. Hoop Mountain is determined to create an unmatched basketball atmosphere.
Each year we run summer overnight camps, exposure showcases, tournaments, and more.
2016 Summer Camps
Once again our summer camps will be run at Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington, Illinois. We offer a wide array of instructional camps to fit any players needs. Our camps have top college and high school coaches from across the Midwest to provide a high level of teaching to our campers. We pride ourselves in being the "#1 Instructional Camp in the Midwest."
In the past few years our camps have drawn players from across the Midwest including Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Iowa, Missouri, Ohio, Minnesota, Kentucky, and more as well as from around the world including Alaska, United Kingdom, and China.
These camps are all for both overnight and commuter campers. Our camps are open to player entering the 5th-12th grade (Fall '16). All camps are divided by age and skill level amongst the seven indoor courts. This summer we will be offering the following camps, click on a camp to get more information.
2016 Spring Showcase
We will be announcing our 2016 Spring Showcase in November. Our Spring Showcase is a one day exposure event for high school boys players to be seen by college coaches as well as scouting services. Our Spring Showcase is held every year in the end of March after the high school season. Our past showcases have drawn college coaches from across the Midwest and players from across the entrie country, including 17 states in just the past year. Many of our former showcase players have earned scholarships to Div. 1 and 2 schools as well as going on to play at Div. 3, NAIA, and Junior College schools.
Each year we have a Shootout for high school boys varsity and sophomore teams. Our 2016 Shootout will be our 12th annual one, each at West Aurora High School (IL). Our Shootouts are some of the biggest and most competitive in the Midwest, drawing 88 teams in 2015. We will be positng information for our 2016 Shootout soon.
Year Round Basketball Programs Make the Difference
Our programs include spring and fall exposure showcases, summer camps, positional and shooting camps, tournaments, and our June Shootout High School Tournament. We know that the best players are those who never stop working; that is why we have designed our events to be during the off-season. This gives players a chance to continue to get better and continue working hard toward their goals and furthering their success in basketball.
If you are passionate about becoming a better basketball player, then attending one or more of our Hoop Mountain Midwest programs will help you accomplish that goal. Hoop Mountain draws the best scholastic basketball athletes from all over the United States creating a diverse and exciting environment. Not only are campers exposed to different styles of play; the atmosphere exudes intensity, competition, and nonstop excitement.

Hoop Mountain consistently ranks as one of the premier basketball camps in North America. The College Sports Magazine rates Hoop Mountain as one of the top ten camps in the nation. Hoop Mountain has a solid relationship with college coaches from Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, as well as the rest of Midwest and US. Scouting services such as Midwest Hoops Spotlight are present at Hoop Mountain events to evaluate and rank players. Or camps are one of the best instructional camps in the nation to help players improve their game. Hoop Mountain has been running some of the best basketball camps since 1985, while Hoop Mountain has been running events in the Midwest since 2000.
