Fall "Live" College Exposure Classics

For this Division I NCAA certified event, college coaches and scouting services will be in attendance to observe the Mid Atlantic's finest college prospects. The day consists of 3 sessions of evaluation games, a skill development session, and separate discussions with parents, coaches, and players concerning the college recruiting process. Division I, II, III, NAIA, and Junior College coaches are allowed to attend this event.

Each player will receive:

  • Three “evaluation” games
  • Exposure to Division I, II, III, NAIA, and Junior College coaches and the following scouting services:
  • Hoop Scoop Online, Rivals.com, Prep Stars,
  • Hoop Mountain Mid Atlantic Jersey

Directions to Washington Lee University

Lexington is located at the intersection of Interstates 81 and 64. Washington and Lee is less than two miles from the interstate.

DIRECTIONS

  • If you are traveling from the north, south, or east, follow I-81 to exit 191 (which puts you onto I-64). Next, take exit 55 off I-64. Turn left onto Route 11 south at the stop sign.
  • If you are traveling from the west, take I-64 to exit 55. Turn right on Route 11 south at the stop sign.
  • Once you are on Route 11 south, you will drive through three stoplights. After the third stoplight, you will cross the Maury River, and bear right onto Route 11 Business. You will pass Virginia Military Institute. After you pass VMI, you will see W&L on your right. Parking is available in the Lee Chapel lot on Jefferson Street. Remain in the right lane and look for the brick entrance to the parking lot.

FLYING

If you are not within driving distance, plan to fly into the Roanoke Regional Airport, which is about fifty miles south of Lexington. US Airways, United, Northwest, and Delta serve the Roanoke Valley. Take I-81 north to Lexington and follow the directions above. Allow an hour to drive from Roanoke to Lexington.

If you need a shuttle service to and from Roanoke, please call the following company several days in advance to schedule service. Service is approximately $65 each way.

AMTRAK

Amtrak serves Staunton, Virginia, which is located about thirty miles north of Lexington on I-81. No transportation is available from the Amtrak station to Lexington.
