Steve Gibbs is the President of Hoop Mountain. Steve founded Hoop Mountain in 1985 and has allowed it to grow into an elite basketball enterprise. Steve served as the co-founder of the well respected prep basketball magazine, High School Hoop. Steve also formed the High School Hoop Scouting Report, which was a huge hit with college basketball scouts around the country. Steve has written articles for the prestigious Eastern Basketball Magazine, has appeared many times on Sports Channel basketball shows, and has hosted various cable and radio sport shows. Steve nominates high school basketball players for the McDonald's All American game. Recently, Steve has signed on with the National High School and Prep School Scouting Report, which will give every Hoop Mountain camper an opportunity to receive national exposure.

Greg excelled as a player in high school, prep and college ranks. He was a three year starter and captain at Medfield High School, were he led his team to the Tri- Valley Championship and was a career 1,000 point scorer. At Brewster Academy he was a second team all-New England selection and league MVP. Subsequently, at Brandeis University, he served as captain for 2 years, was named 3 times to the University all-Academic team.
Greg is the director of Hoop Mountain Personal Instruction, were he has helped numerous players reach their playing potential at the collegiate level. Greg is also the director of the Hoop Mountain New York Camps and has aided Hoop Mountain in developing camps all over the Country including: Georgia, Kansas, Chicago, and New Jersey. Greg has also help place players at Colleges and Prep Schools across the country. Greg nominates players for Academic All American Camp presented by Hoop Mountain each year.

Terry Frederick, President of Hoop Mountain Mid Atlantic, provides scouting reports to college coaches and serves on the nominating Committee for McDonalds All-Americans. He is responsible for Hoop Mountain Mid Atlantic business operations.

Coach DiGiovanni is the head womens girls basketball coach for Holy Spirit (NJ) high school which is one of the top programs in NJ. Coach D has over 30 years of coaching experience, has won mumerous “coach of the year awards”, and is one of the finest teachers of the game. He is reponsible for Hoop Mountain Mid Atlantic basketball operations.

Dion is a former Hoop Mountain camper. He attended the Hoop Mountain camp in New England for several summers. From that experience he went on to become a counselor at the camp. Through Hoop Mountain Dion received a college basketball scholarship and from that experience wants to help others do the same.

Larry has over 15 years experience as a basketball referee in the Washington DC metropolitan area. As a mentor and basketball scout he has helped a number of young men receive college basketball scholarships to various schools throughout the country.
