North Carolina Spring Classic “College Exposure Showcase”

WHAT:
College exposure showcase
Southeast’s and Northeast’s finest competition
For one day/night, numerous college coaches/prep school coaches will be in attendance to observe the East Coast’s finest unsigned seniors and underclassmen.
Prep school coaches available to meet and answer questions for players and their parents.
All participants are guaranteed several round robin mini games.
Basketball workouts prior to the games for college evaluation.
Complimentary mini seminar for parents covering the college basketball recruiting process.
WHEN: March 27th, 2010
WHERE: Guilford College, Greensboro, NC
WHO: Freshman, Sophomores, Juniors, and unsigned seniors
COST: $95 per player

DIRECTIONS:

From the airport exit turn right onto Bryan Boulevard. Take the New Garden Road/Guilford College exit. At the end of the exit ramp, turn right onto New Garden Road. At the third set of traffic lights, turn left (this is still New Garden Road). At the next light, turn left into the college on Arcadia Drive.

From the North on Interstate 85

Take I-85 south/I-40 west toward Greensboro/Winston-Salem. Stay on I-40 west past the splits with I-85 south and Business 85 south and take I-40 to Exit 212B (yes, go past the Guilford College exit). Take the exit ramp and turn right. Go to Exit 2, West Friendly Avenue (East) exit and turn right. Go 1.5 miles. Cross over College Road and turn left into the College. The Admission Office is located in New Garden Hall, the first building on your left. Go to the three-way stop and admission parking is on your left.

This weekend numerous college coaches/prep school coaches will be in attendance to observe the East Coast’s finest unsigned seniors and underclassmen.

WHO: U12-U17 Club/AAU teams
COST: $375 per team

DIRECTIONS:

Arriving from the North by Interstate 95 South - coming from Washington, Fredericksburg, Kings Dominion, etc.

Take Exit #79 to right towards Powhite Parkway (Route I-195). Bear left off the ramp onto I-195.
Take the exit for Hamilton and Broad Streets.
Follow North Hamilton Street to Monument Avenue (second left) and turn left.
Follow Monument Avenue east; its name will change to Franklin Street.
Follow Franklin Street to North Harrison Street (turn left); drive one and one-half blocks on North Harrison Street. The entrance to the VCU West Broad Parking Deck/Welcome Center is on the right.

Arriving from the South by Interstate 95 North - coming from Petersburg, North Carolina, etc.

Take Exit #74A onto Downtown Expressway, I-195 (The exit ramp is actually on the James River Bridge).
Drive 1/2 mile, take exit for Belvidere Street (U.S. #1 & # 301).
Drive two blocks along Canal Street to North Belvidere Street.
Turn right on North Belvidere Street.
Go three blocks to West Broad Street (turn left).
Drive three blocks to Shafer Street (turn left); the entrance to the VCU West Broad Parking Deck/Welcome Center is on the right.

Best of the South Showcase presented by Hoop Mountain

For: AAU/Travel Club Teams 12u-17u
When: May 28-30
Where: The Imagine Center in Greenville, SC
Why: To play against top flight competition in a tremendous facility with board officials and electronic score clocks. College coaches and scouting reports will be in attendance
Cost: $375 per team (discounts available for sending 3 or more teams)
